Understanding Phylogenetic Endemism: Cradles and Museums of Biodiversity

Endemism describes a pattern when a taxa is geographically isolated. However, in recent years more focus has been given to studying how Phylogenetic diversity is isolated, otherwise known as phylogenetic endemism. This webinar covers the basic theory of phylogenetic endemism, details how this method is used to detect cradles and museums of biodiversity, and cover the software/tools you can use to study this concept yourself!

Webinar Information

The Learn Adventurously Webinar Series was created with biologists, naturalists, and self learners in mind. We cover key eco-evolutionary concepts, create practical tutorials for common tools, and provide the key information needed to understand the world around us.

Our webinars are recorded live for members of the LAB. Any relevant handouts are made freely available in the library

This webinar is presented by Dillon Jones, biologist, educator, and the founder of Learn Adventurously.
